On 14 December 2012, Le Chalet once again opened its doors to the public. The alpine restaurant and souvenir shop are located on the first floor. The barn is turned into a ski school office in winter and a room suitable for workshops and exhibitions in summer. At Le Chalet, you can also admire a miniature model of the Montreux-Oberland-Bernois (MOB) line serving the region of Montreux to the Bernese Oberland.
The main tourist attraction is the making of hard cheese by a cheesemaker in a traditional costume. "Le Chalet Organic" is then ripened in a cellar and partnered with the traditional dishes of the restaurant.
